Helen Crosley’s Quilters and Prayer Shawllers
The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Prayer Shawl Committee consists of a group of women who meet along with Helen’s Quilters on the second Friday of each month at 12:30 pm. Anyone is welcome to join. The shawls and quilts are made with prayers and love. These prayer shawls and quilts are very comforting for those who are suffering from medical issues, the loss of a loved one, or any other demanding challenge they might be going through in life. There is a strong link between faith and healing. The prayer shawls and quilts warm the body and soul and give that needed comfort and strength to carry on.
Our inventory consists of shoulder shawls, lap shawls, and baby afghans. There is a procedure to obtain a shawl or afghan. We can meet with you at the church to discuss and help you pick out just the right one.
